How to Make Android Phone Unreachable

Although, many of you might be aware of this small but useful trick through which you can make your android phone unreachable without disappointing anyone – why i am saying disappointing anyone here, is to bring light to the fact that, if you are not willing to pick up the incoming call from known numbers, it may create disappointing situation on other end. While making phone unreachable can give you good excuse of not being in network while you still can make calls and receive messages. Lets see how to do it.

First You need to ensure that you have call forwarding service activated on your mobile phone. if not you can get it done by calling your operating customer care.

The trick is – If you divert the call on same number, the mobile number goes unreachable/does not get connected for all incoming calls. All incoming calls means you will not be displayed with any incoming caller info on screen until you disable the call divert. While you can make calls and send messages without the problem.

On your Android Phone go to >> Settings >> Call Settings - see the sub title ” Other Call settings ” under which press “Call Forwarding”  a new screen will appear named as “Call Forwarding Settings“.

Call from any other mobile to your number and you will find the call will not connect. Giving indication as if you are not in coverage.

Other alternatives

1) Take out battery of your mobile phone when it is switched on (without switching off), you will not be able to make and receive calls, but all of your incoming call will be treated by “number reachable” until you place the battery back in position.

2) Choosing Any other network operators other than yours, under Wireless and Settings >> Mobile Networks, manually will also do the same, you will still not be able to make calls and receive messages

3) Using any external app/ software – We are reviewing few and will let you know if succeeded.

If you know any other trick which does the same work let us know and we will include here.
