The much awaited thinnest smartphone, Motorola DROID RAZR will be available for preorder from October 27 at Verizon Wireless. Motorola DROID RAZR is a combination of traditional Razr style and power packed performance. The smartphone measures 130.7 x 68.9 x 7.1 mm and weighs 127 g, making it the slimmest Android powered smartphone. Its nanocoating is water resistant which protects inside components against daily spills.
The Verizon Motorola DROID RAZR has Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread as operating system and powered by 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4460 dual-core processor. The smartphone also includes a 1GB RAM for a fast user interface and multi-tasking. It has an 32GB storage of which 16GB is on board while the other 16GB is through pre-installed microSD card.
The Droid RAZR smartphone sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels which is covered by a Gorilla Glass. having a features a 8 megapixel rear camera which can shoot 1080p HD videos. The camera supports the image stabilization technology that provides clear and sharp video display. The device also features a front-facing 1.3-MP camera that enables HD video chat over Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G LTE.
The DROID RAZR is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0 as the connectivity options. It also features HDMI-out port that enables the user to play HD videos in HDTV and supports DLNA technology to stream music and videos from the laptop or work-computers.
